Global Forum on MSM and HIV A loose network of civil society groups, AIDS organizations, MSM groups and other agencies, the Forum wors at the global and national levels to advocate for improved AIDS programming for MSM, and to share information on best practice in HIV prevention, treatment and care and support for MSM. The Forum is composed of organizations and agencies with a commitment to social justice and human rights issues, and with those committed to improving the HIV/AIDS response to MSM and other sexual and gender minorities. The Interim Steering Committee of the Global Forum on MSM and HIV met in Mexico City February 4-6, 2007. The goal of the meeting was to develop an operational plan that included structure, governance, communications, areas of endeavour, implementation activities, budgets, and sources of funding. Malecare, Inc a national nonprofit organization dealing with cancer, founded in 1997, which develops practical, life-saving programs to address the problem of men dying sooner than women. Malecare is known for its pioneering work in developing psycho-social interventions for gay and bisexual men diagnosed with cancer. In 2005, OutWithCancer LGBT Cancer Survivor Project was created, providing services and research regarding the effects of cancer on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people.
